Route 1, Turtle Rock, approximately 14km round trip
Leaving Tiara Resort, turn right and follow the main road. After 7 km you will reach Turtle Rock on your left side. You will easy recognise the huge rock with the shape of a turtle. The last bit to the rock is unpaved. From Turtle Rock you can make a walk of  1 hour to a lovely monastery in the mountains. You can see the monastery on your right-hand side after you pass Turtle Rock (take your bike with you as far as possible). The people from the monastery might ask you a small entrance fee to enter the little temple. Please realise that the entrance fee will be used to keep the monastery in good condition.  From the terrace of the monastery you have a great view over the Terelj Valley.

Route 2, Tuul River, approximately 16km round trip
Leaving Tiara Resort, turn left and follow the main road. After about 7 km you will reach Tuul River after passing some quite steep hills.
You can either go down to the river following some unpaved paths or you can continue following the main road to reach the wooden bridge. You can take along your swimming outfit in case you want to take a dive, but beware that the water can be (very) chilly, depending on the season.

Wild cows on the steppesRoute 3, Terelj village, approximately 36km round trip
Terelj village is not among the most thriving places of all, as it consists of only a few houses, ger tents and some very small food shops. Nevertheless the road to Terelj village offers offers great nature and likewise views, literally all the way. There is a good change you will meet wild yaks, cows and horses along the way, just like you are likely to meet locals and nomads. The first 7 kilometres of this route 3 are the same way as Route 1.
